A real cat. A new perspective. / Pre-launch
One real ginger-and-white cat. Genuine adventures. An AI-powered character with a voice of his own. An interactive entertainment and education brand, with you along for the ride.
Currently being built. Curiosity included.
01 / Meet Howie
Meet Howie.
Howie is a real ginger-and-white cat who quite literally walked into our lives. At around three months old, he appeared as a stray in our front garden one afternoon. We left the door open, and before long he followed us inside.
He stayed the night — with the doors left open so he could leave if he wanted — and the next day we took him to the vet to check for a microchip and have his fleas treated. From there, he went into the care of a cat charity while the proper checks were made. We then went through the adoption process and brought him home for good.
The Howie project grew from the real cat who first walked through our door.
02 / How it works
More than a cat video.
Real adventures become an interactive show built around Howie’s imagined point of view.
01 / EXPLORE →
Howie explores
Howie goes about his normal life while lightweight cameras record genuine footage from his point of view and other useful angles.
REAL HOWIE. REAL ADVENTURES.
02 / RECORDED SHOW ↓
The footage becomes the show
Howie’s camera footage sits at the centre of the entertainment format. Each approved recording becomes the visual foundation for the interactive show, with Howie’s fictional voice, character and viewer interaction built around it. That makes the capture technology a recurring part of the experience — not simply equipment used behind the scenes.

AI understands relevant moments
Coordinated AI components analyse useful moments in the footage and provide context about what is happening.

04 / CHARACTER ↓
Howie reacts
AI uses scene context, Howie’s established fictional character and his character’s current mood to create short first-person reactions. His synthetic voice turns those reactions into speech aligned with what viewers are watching. These are imagined reactions for entertainment, not claims about what the real Howie is thinking or feeling.

Viewers change the experience
Twitch subscribers can influence Howie’s fictional current mood, changing the style of his reactions. Viewers can also ask Howie questions in chat and receive written replies in his established character.

06 / MANY FORMATS
One adventure becomes many formats
A single Howie adventure can become a Twitch broadcast, a longer YouTube story, short-form clips, community content and educational material. This gives relevant partners opportunities to appear naturally across more than one format from the same underlying adventure.

The right technology makes the adventure possible. We’re looking for founding partners to help build what comes next.
04 / BUILDING HOWIE
Building Howie.
The entertainment experience is being developed as a modular system, with different components responsible for vision, character, speech, viewer interaction and production control. Development is happening in stages so each part can be tested before the complete show is launched.

Persona & wider integration
Work continues on the authoritative Howie character guidance and the wider integration between vision, commentary, voice, viewer interaction and broadcast production.
The next major milestone is bringing the individual systems together into the complete footage-to-voice interactive experience.
